HoB Roadshows
Our HoB Roadshows are mainly aimed to get people living close to forest reserves to know about the Heart of Borneo Initiative.
Additionally, the roadshows aim to enhance the rapport between the Sabah Forestry Department enforcement staff and village communities.
For school students
The first HoB Roadshow was launched in 2012 in the Telupid District and conducted for primary and secondary school students. Over the years, the roadshow was held in the Sipitang (2013) and Keningau (2014) districts.

A change of target audience occurred in the following years due to requests from District Forest Officers to show a friendlier side of the Sabah Forestry Department's enforcement officers.
From 2014 to 2018, the RDC organized about roadshows for about 25 village communities in the districts of Kinabatangan, Tongod, Tenom, Ranau and Sandakan.
As a result, after a series of roadshows, the RDC involved more than 2,000 participants involving school students and villagers living near protected areas under the Heart of Borneo Initiative.
