With the rain forest just about 13 km (8 miles) away from the Sandakan Airport, and only 22.5 km (14 miles) from Sandakan Town, the RDC is probably the most accessible rain forest in Sabah!

Here, you can discover the Bornean rain forest from the treetops (along the The Rainforest Skywalk) and from the ground along our well-marked network of trails!

As you walk along the Skywalk, you can spot all sorts of cool plants and animals. You might see colorful birds, squirrels and if you are lucky, you can see a Orangutan with the baby. Plus you'll be surrounded by lots of lush, green leaves and the sounds of the rainforest.
